Scalp Acupuncture for Neurological Conditions

now available in Gainesville

I take great joy in my practice and in helping each patient find their own path to health and well-being.

I have been working as an acupuncturist in Gainesville, Florida since 2002. I have more than 20 years of experience using TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) to address a wide variety of conditions including chronic pain, anxiety, GI disturbances, and tinnitus. I provide pregnancy and post-partum care, help for menopause symptoms and menstrual disorders and supportive care for assisted fertility procedures such as IUI and IVF. I am also trained in the Jiao style of scalp acupuncture for stroke and neurological conditions.

I bring a lifetime interest in integrative medicine and health care to my practice. I have a PhD in biomedicine and am well equipped to assist patients in navigating our modern medical system.

I have studied Tai Chi since 1998 and yoga for more than 30 years. I also perform middle eastern dance and flamenco fusion as a hobby.  I consider awareness of body, movement and breath to be essential for a healthy life and I offer online classes in yoga, pranayama (breath work) and Qigong. I am passionate about my own personal practices and I enjoy helping my patients and students explore the practices that are best for them.
